Submission Guidelines

PODCASTS:

  • All podcasts must consistently post new episodes at least once a month for at least six episodes before submitting a podcast for us to review.
  • Your podcast must be entertaining with good audio quality. We don’t want long awkward pauses, heavy mouth breathing or weird ambient sounds. There is a BIG difference between a well prepared podcast host and a poorly prepared podcast host who really doesn’t know what to talk about. Don’t be the second guy.
  • DON’T send us audio files. Send us a link to your podcast’s RSS feed, libsyn feed or to whatever website hosts your feed.
  • If accepted to the DANGER ENTERTAINMENT PODCAST NETWORK you will be required to consistently publish at least one episode per month and run one bumper promoting the network and one bumper promoting another podcast on the network. The promo schedule is determined by DANGER ENTERTAINMENT. All podcasts take turns promoting other podcasts and getting promoted on other podcasts. It’s all about getting the word out and growing all the shows.

COMIC WRITERS:

  • Send us a link to anything that you have written that is published by yourself or any other publisher for us to assess your writing skills.
  • You can send us pitches with at least 5 pages of continuous sequential art. The pitch must consist of 1) a few sentances summing up the basic idea of the story, 2) a synopsis of the mini-series, graphic novel or first arc of an ongoing series, 3) one full script of the first issue.
  • State in your message to us that you won’t hold use legally responsible if sometime in the future we publish something that in some way vaguely resembles anything that you sent us.

COMIC PENCILERS: 

  • Send us a link to at least 5 continuous pages of sequential comic book pages using established characters published by a major comic publisher.
  • OR you can send us a link to any published Comic Book or Graphic Novel that you illustrated.

COMIC INKERS:

  • Send us a link to your portfolio where we can see before and after images of your inks over several different artists with different styles.

  • Send us a link to your portfolio where we can see before and after images of your colors over several different artists with different styles.
